Appeared on the Tech Lounge #56
This week on The Tech Lounge Mark Dalton was joined by Jon Pratchett, Darren Griffin and myself.
Mark kicks off by thanking the chat room for the suggestions on a device to replace his Sky+ box. In the end he went with the EchoStar HDS-600RS and was impressed by how easy it was to setup, not to mention the superior picture quality. He is still experimenting but will be publishing a review in the not so distant future. He asks the chat room again for suggestions on a replacement for the bedroom and the consensus seems to be a Humax device. Do you have any suggestions?
GazMaz has his own questions regarding blogging, and looks to the panel for their advice. Once again if you have any thoughts or suggestions on the matter Gaz would love to hear them.
Darren tells us the problems he has been having sourcing PC parts, and compares it to his experiences repairing Macs. Which reminds Mark about the perils or buying a new PC without the source media.
Jon on the other hand has had a good result with a custom PC build he has had made by the guys over at Scan. He needed a mobile broadcasting unit and needed a high end machine, and the guys certainly delivered. Jon also tells us about Adobe CS6 and Adobe’s new Creative Cloud offering. What are you thoughts? We would love to know.
